Position Summary

The Receptionist & Front Desk Assistant serves as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors. This role is critical in delivering a welcoming, professional experience while supporting multiple departments with administrative and communication needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and customers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Direct customers to appropriate departments and team members
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls; take accurate messages as needed
  • Maintain awareness of showroom or office floor activity and staff availability
  • Utilize electronic calendars to track appointments and schedules
  • Provide general administrative support to sales, service, and administrative teams
  • Operate multi-line phone systems and internal paging tools
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns and escalate to management when appropriate
  • Perform clerical tasks such as document preparation, file organization, and data entry
  • Support recordkeeping related to company documents, invoices, and communications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Friendly, positive demeanor with a customer-focused mindset
  • Prior receptionist or front-desk experience preferred (6+ months a plus)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (4-5 months)

Location: On-site at White Bear Lake Dealership

Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Pay Range: $19-22/hour (based on experience)
